I would like to have some triggers that are on every page and I thought that the Master Slide would be the place to put them. However, nothing seems to be carried over when I apply that layout. My question is will this work or do I have to put the same triggers on each and every page in my story file? Thank you, Cindi
You can add triggers to a master slide, and then apply that slide master layout to your slides. You won't see those triggers appear within the trigger panel of your individual slides, but if you do a preview - you should see them work as expected. For more information on how triggers will fire, please review this article.

Lil late on this, however I have not found a useful way to add triggers with variables to master slides.
I usually do gen trigger stuff on Master slides, like return to previous, show a layer, etc.
Hope your project turned out great Cindi!
