I have a quiz have inherited from another employee, and I am almost at the finished product. After figuring out how to adjust my question count variable to add 1 to each question so that it states on the quiz "question x of 100" , I cant get it to start at 1. The first quiz slide is always 2. What am I missing?
Without seeing the file, I'm guessing here, but try setting the initial value of the variable to 0, so that when it hits the first slide and adds 1, it shows 1.
Yes it must be something like that, but the questions are randomly picked out of a question bank. I am going to have to figure out how to assign the first slide a zero value.
If you set the variable's initial value to 0, then no matter which slide is first, it would add 1 to the counter. Again, without seeing the file, it's tricky to guess.
Thanks. I know it's tough without the file. I appreciate your help. I tried setting the variables count to zero, but then the first 10 questions from the bank all said one. I'm adjusting the master slide so I'm going to have to keep trying.
I got it to work, though it's kind of a work around. I had to set the first slide ( that's not part of the quiz,) to have a value of -1, but not on the master slide, on the actual quiz itself. Probably not the best, but it works
