Admin Code Unlocking Course

Hey everyone, 

I was wondering if there was a way to create an admin code within a course that unlocked the menu for only users who had the password. Sometimes we need to revisit pages within a course that are already published to our LMS to see if we can duplicate an issue but we lose a lot of time by going through the whole course to get to the specific page. Has anyone done this before?

You could...

  1. Publish with the menu then
  2. execute JavaScript at Timeline start of the first slide and use jquery to find and hide the menu option in the player.
  3. add a link to a lightbox on the player and use this for admins to enter a code
  4. on successful validation of the code, execute javascript and use jquery to show the hidden menu button.
