Administrator prevented from viewing content again
Dec 29, 2013
With reference to Articulate Storyline and Articulate Online: our client's preference is that learners cannot view the course again once it has been completed. So the player is set to always resume at the point where the learner has exited the course. If the course has been completed, and the learner views again, they are returned to the final screen. This works fine from the learner perspective, but as an Administrator I want to view the course more than once to check and test different aspects of the content. But the "always resume where left off" setting prevents me from doing this. I can only see the last screen of the course like everyone else. Is there an "Administrator override" for this setting? Re-publishing the course gets around the problem but is a time-consuming, cumbersome fix when I want to re-view several times. Nor do I wish to simply preview the content, I want to see it exactly how it will appear Online to the learners. Suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Liz,
I often add "developer shortcuts" to get around fixed navigation inside a course. If you want it really simple just add a keystroke trigger when (ctrl + 1) is clicked it goes back to the first screen.
Hope that helps.
Mike.
Hi Liz and welcome to Heroes!
There isn't a built in functionality to allow administrators to review a course differently than the users within Articulate Online, but it looks like Mike's suggestion may be what you need.
