Advanced Drag and Drop Exercise

Mar 05, 2015

Hi there,

I'm trying to create a drag and drop exercise which, after the user has submitted, the objects turn to certain colours to indicate where they should be. If the user is incorrect, an icon needs to appear next to the item, and the same for if it is a 'possible'. The user should then be able to click on each one, depending on where it is, to see the reason why it is correct, incorrect or 'possible'.

Here is an example of what I'm hoping to create:

Example 1

So, on the left are 10 classes, and the user has to place each of them into one of the three boxes on the right. Once they have placed them all and pressed submit, the items need to change to their correct colours:

Example 2

As you can see, if it is wrong, a red exclamation mark icon appears next to it, and if it is 'possible', a yellow question mark icon appears. The user will hopefully then be able to click to see why they were incorrect.

Does anybody know if something like this is possible, even in a simpler format?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
