Advancing Screen Recordings ONLY when the user clicks NEXT

We're using some screen recordings in an instructor-led session, and I'm trying to force the screen recording to wait at the completion of a step/screen, and only advance when the trainer clicks the Next button.

But I can't make this work for some odd reason.

I deleted the Advance when timeline completes triggers from all the slides in the deck, but the playback still refuses to wait for the user to click the Next button.

Any suggestions? Or am I missing something totally obvious that I'll hide my head in shame when I hear what I needed to be doing?
