All Kinds of Motion Path Issues

All of a sudden, I started to have issues with motion paths.  As you can see from the attachment, the motion path has been created (motion path 8) and there is a trigger to move the box along the motion path, but the motion path itself does not show up anywhere to be manipulated.  I have deleted the trigger and added a new motion path many times with the same result.  That also seems to be leaving the previous motion paths intact, since there should not be 8 motion paths on this slide.  I can't delete the previous motion paths because I can't see them anywhere to click on and delete.  This just started happening today, is anyone else having the same issue?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
