My internal system has blocked Flash so my learners can't view some content. Any idea how to follow the directions below? I have been uploading zipped Scorm files to my LMS... so how would I 'link' directly to the story_html5.html file?
thanks!
"Linking Directly to Your HTML5 Published Output
When learners launch your published Articulate Storyline course, they'll automatically see the best version for their device and browser—Flash, HTML5, or Articulate Mobile Player (AMP). See this article for details.
If you'd prefer to bypass the Flash and AMP output altogether and only launch the HTML5 version of your course, link directly to the story_html5.html file in your published output (rather than the default story.html file)."

Hi Meg! This simply means the URL that you are sharing with your users. You typically just share the story.html file, but you would want to share the story_html5.html file instead. You should actually just be able to add that piece to what you are sharing now and it will work as long as you've published to include HTML5 output.
Hi Leslie,
I'm uploading my SCORM package to Totara 2.4 (which includes HTML5). The link looks similar to this:
http://mylms.com/mod/scorm/view.php?id=65000
When I click it opens by default with Flash in the browser (IE11).
I'm struggling to find if Totara 2.4 even supports HTML5.
Any suggestions?
Thanks heaps,
Dan
Hello Dan,
I would not be your best source to find out if Totara 2.4 supports HTML5, but you should be able to easily test this in a supported HTML5 environment:
You can find all of our system requirements here.
Thanks Leslie.
Yeh, I think this was more of LMS question rather than Storyline2 question.
All is working nicely in HTML5. We are in the process of moving to Totara 2.9 which does support HTML5.
Thanks for getting back to me.
Dan
Awesome! Glad to be able to assist, even if to nudge in a better direction :)
