This should be pretty straightforward using a variable. Assuming all of your layers are sequential, you will just need to set up true/false variable and then a trigger on the second last or last slide to change it to true. Then your Exit Button trigger should be something like: Show Layer if variable is true.
If your layers are not sequential, I'd recommend a number variable. The same logic applies. You just need to set your Exit Button trigger to Show Layer if variable equals 10 (or however many layers there are).
Does this make sense? Let me know if you'd like more clarification :)
The resources Leslie directed you to are great and go into far more detail than I could. Best of luck with your project and let me know if you get stuck along the way.

Hey Starr- Create a variable that counts slides viewed (lets say LayerViewedNum) adding 1 to it on each layer viewed.
Lets say you have 5 layers required. On Exit add a trigger with an If condition to Show Layer if LayerViewedNum = 5
