Animating Bullets with User click
Oct 07, 2014
I'm using Storyline 2, but this may be something that's the same in Storlyine 1. I figured out by searching through the forum how to separate the items in a bulleted list so you can animate them one by one. That's great if I want to use the timeline to time things out. However, how can I let the user advance to the next bullet via a click. Do I need to add pauses and variables or states or is there an easier way. I'm hoping there's an easy way that I am just missing to let the user click to advance to the next thing in the timeline. Does anyone have a method that works well?

Hello Brooks!
One thing you could do is add each bullet to a layer, and have the user click on the text in the box, (bullet one), to "show layer" as a trigger, and have the second bullet appear with animation.
Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but just an idea. i am sure others will chime in as well.
Attached is an example.
