Arabic fonts recommendation
Apr 29, 2018
Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on Articulate Storyline, and it is really amazing!
I have a small problem regarding fonts since I'm working on Arabic lessons. My problem is that when I view my work in the preview option it is neat and nice, but after I publish the lesson some letters are being misplaced or seems to be collided with the border. Is there some fonts you could recommend for me to get over this problem?
Thank you so much.

Hi Sara,
Which font(s) have you tried using so far?
Have you tried using Arial Unicode MS? If not, can you try that font and see if it solves the issue?
Thank you so much!
It solved my problem. I guess the problem was not using a Unicode font. Is there any other Unicode font that is supported in Storyline for Arabic text? Or is it a general concept for all Unicode fonts?
Hi Sara,
Other Unicode fonts, like Microsoft Sans Serif, should work as well. Let us know if you run into any more issues with this!
Hi, I have the same problem. I tried Arial Unicode MS, and I got problems in Google Chrome.
I tried Microsoft Sans Serif font, and I got problems in Microsoft Edge, Rubik font has the same problem.
Is there any font that works OK in Arabic for all browsers?
Attached example of the problem. a word in Storyline 3 and in Edge (Microsoft Sans Serif font)

Hi;
I enabled the 'Modern Text' and it solved the problem. I used Rubik font and my Arabic reviewer replied it became OK.
Thanks for the fast solution - Miri
