The Storyline Templates in the Content Library seem like a great resource. Are there any templates that are designed specifically for a 16:9 Story Size? Or is there a quick way to adjust layouts to look great in a 16:9 Story Size?
The layouts do not look as polished when I select the 16:9 Story Size, since everything is smooshed to the center of each screen with space on each side, rather than filling the screen horizontally. I realize that everything can be re-positioned, but that decreases some of the efficiency and design benefits offered by the beautiful template layouts.
Hope I am just missing a quick and easy way to change or select a layout that will fill the 16:9 screen ratio. Any ideas or tips?
I have discovered that if I am in Slide view in a 16:9 Story Size and import a slide from the content library, it comes in very nicely to fill the entire screen. So guessing it is something with the way I imported the template or saved it?
Ideally you start with your story size at one of the standard aspect ratios (16:9 or 4:3). When you bring in a Content Library template it will fit either one of those.
If you start with a different aspect ratio and bring in the template, some items may be misaligned as it tries to fit the slide.
Thanks Tom, I started with 16:9 but was attempting to bring in a number of slides from the Content Library that I had saved as a group and imported. I am happy to see that bringing slides individually works well. I will retry bringing in a template.
