I had trouble with sound consistency for the .mp3 files for my project. They were converted to .wma files and sounded fine. I imported those .wma files and found the same problems I had with the .mp3 files. So now I'm wondering what happens to .wma files when imported into Storyline 360.

All audio files are converted to MP3s on publish, have you looked at your publish settings for audio that might be why they sound poor.
Thanks, Phil,
Aside from the Optimize Audio Volume checkbox on the Publish Quality window, how else can I adjust sound quality?
convert the wma files outside storyline to the final mp3 quality you want
(mono/stereo, VBR/CBR, data rate ...)
import the mp3 to storyline and set audio compression to "None"
then you get exact the quality you want
Thanks much, Jurgen,
I see how that works
I would uncheck optimise as well as all that does is normalise and you don't want it to be processed again.
Thanks, Phil,
That makes sense now that I'm learning about how Storyline handles audio.
