I have a storyline 360 file currently housed within a shared drive (only my team of 3 can view the file). The problem is my team and I are trying to open the file, and an error message pops up telling me to close articulate and open the project again—any idea what might be happening?
P.S: I can only open the file unless I save it somewhere else or change the name of the file constantly.
You're seeing that error because another process or application is accessing the file that you are trying to open. We recommend moving the Storyline 360 project file to a local directory in your computer to prevent this from happening, and then re-uploading to your shared drive when you're done making changes. Note that we do not recommend editing your projects on a network drive because this increases the risk of running into data corruption due to the introduction of network latency.
