Articulate software appears corrupt error
Hi All
I have been using a trial version of the Articulate software for a few days now and today when I attempted to open Articulate it said "Your Articulate 360 installation appears to be corrupt. Install the latest version then try again." I have uninstalled all Articulate software and then reinstalled but this has not fixed the issue - has anyone got any solutions for this?
Hi Sandra and welcome to E-Learning Heroes 😊
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you're experiencing with your software.
I've opened a support case on your behalf so that you can work directly with one of our support engineers. You should be hearing from someone soon.

Hi everyone,
I heard from Articulate support with a solution. The issue is that the .NET Framework needs to be enabled. I followed these instructions on how to do this https://www.groovypost.com/howto/enable-net-framework-2-windows-8/ and enabled .NET 3.5 Framework in addition to .NET 4.0 already being enabled.
Windows will want you to download an update and then restart.
This fixed the issue for me. Took about 10min tops.
Hi there, James!
Great call to also open a case regarding this error. You're in good hands with Eric on our Support team, where he shared the next steps.
Let us know if you have any questions about what he sent!

Hi Katie,
I'm not sure if I am missing anything but I did not receive a reply from Eric.
I did hear from a Justin Grenier, but only to say this was being looked into.

Hi Katie,
Sorry for the confusion. Eric's email was in my junk mail. I followed his instructions and everything is now working. Thank you for the follow up!

Good morning, James!
Thanks for raising this, and I'm sorry to hear about not receiving Eric's email!
I see he recently reached out to the email tied to your E-Learning Heroes profile on 12/29/2020 (6:24 AM EDT) from support@articulate.com. I just resent the response.
To cover every base, let's double-check your spam and junk folders to see if the email is getting caught there. 🤞
In the meantime, I'll share the first troubleshooting step in case others have the same experience:
We support authoring and viewing Articulate content on Surface Pro tablets. First, let's make sure that the .NET framework is enabled. More info here.
P.S. It looks like your contact info came through to the public forum. If you'd like to remove it, simply click here to access the link for editing.

Hi,
I have tried some of these tips as well as the uninstall and reinstall tactic, however I am still having a issue where the program is trying to install, but it just gets stuck in the install and I can not close out of it normally.
This is really frustrating when Storyline was working the previous week and then it said that the program was corrupted.
Hi Michael and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing. I see that you were able to contact our support team directly and you are currently working with Gren.
