I have a MacBook, but I am running Windows 10 Pro on it.
My problem: when I import PPT slides that contain embedded videos, the videos show in the preview of my import, but when I actually import the slides, all of the media (mp4) is lost. :(
When a colleague replicates this process on a PC with the same operating system, everything works.
Ideas? What is the issue? Is there a setting I need adjust somewhere? If I can't import slides and retain the embedded media, I'm lost.
Hi there Kristin. I'm also on a MacBook, and I use Parallels to host my Windows 10 environment. Your slides should be able to import properly with those mp4 video files intact. Just to rule some things out, are you on the latest version of Storyline 2? You can download and install if you are not.
Also, when importing slides from other sources, the size of the Storyline project is going to dominate. Is any of your other content skewed or misplaced, or even off the slide entirely?
