I currently use Storyline 2 bootcamped on my MacBook Pro. My worries is how hot my MBP gets when I am using it. I am wondering how does Storyline 2 fair in Parallels or VMWare? Does your MBP still get hot?
My specs:
early 2011 MacBook Pro with El Capitan, 8gb Memory, 512 SSD, Quad Core Proc.
Hi, William -- Thanks for reaching out here! You may want to review this info on Using SL2 on a Mac for additional details, and also this thread as well. Personally, I use VMWare Fusion on my MacBook Pro with El Capitan and have yet to experience any issues of note. :)

I used a similar config MBP as yours for about 2 years on Parallels without issue and without it heating up. It was a cool experience, pun intended.
