Articulate storyline, how to make javascript work in ipad ?

Mar 10, 2015

Hi, I have created an articulate storyline. It accepts some data from user and stores in variables. There is an option to download a PDF containing this data, on button click (using execute javascript ). My problem is that this option is not working in articulate mobile player (AMP). I have tested html5 in ipad, but not working.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance..

Thanks for the help Matthew Bibby.

I done it just now. When publishing storyline I unchecked the option of "Use Articulate Mobile Player for ios or android". Now when we open it in ipad it will load the story_html5.html and this support javascript. Also I am using pdfmake to create and download the pdf. Since download pdf is not working in ipad I used the open pdf functionality. Then it works.

hmmm... i also have javascript triggers, and loaded the html5 app from both android an iPhone6 (not using AMP), the triggers do not work... in fact the javascript triggers do not work on both mobile and pc/mac from html5, they only work from flash.  i tested the javascript from a basic html page on the iPhone and android, they work fine there, just not from the storyline 2 html5 pages. any ideas?   i am stuck on this.. and it's a real showstopper!!!  the triggers are being invoked from either a single or double click as i tested both.
