Articulate videos (Required for tool evaluation)

May 07, 2014

Hi

This is an urgent issue. Any help on this will be appreciated.

We need to add some jump tags in a video.

By jump tag, I mean, user clicks on a link outside the video and video directly jumps to that point. For example:

If a video has five chapters and user clicks on chapter 3 then user should jump to that part. Please note that in real time scenarios we have few keywords instead of chapters that we want to use as jump tags.

I did some research and found that in Articulate this can only be achieved by trimming videos and keeping the videos in separate layers.

We want to know if we can do this without trimming a video. We are in the process of evaluating this tool for our company.

This problem is one of the prime concerns that we have.

I described couple of problems here that we are having with trim version of videos.
