Assessments - Repeating Interaction Details - SCORM 1.2

Hello,

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced an issue with Storyline 1.8 similar to the following.  After the user reaches the results slide, we are seeing a repeat of the interactions that were sent to the LMS without the user retaking the assessment. Basically, the course is, for some questions, returning multiple interactions for a single question where the second interaction was never presented to the user and contains invalid data.

Our assessment is setup in the following manner:

• Randomized QuestionDraw of 10-25 questions depending on the course
• A hidden survey question that is used to create a user defined interaction "variable" that acts as a flag for the current assessment attempt. This question is not scored
• The Results slide that submits the results of the QuestionDraw and survey question

What we're seeing is that after the "variable" interaction is sent to the LMS, is that the sequence of interactions for the original draw begins to repeat itself with the following differences:

• The number of interactions that are repeated appears to be random
• The repeated interaction will record a wrong user response, even if the interaction details match the correct answer
• The generated Interaction ID is a lower value than Interaction ID for the original response. Our LMS displays interaction details in a FIFO order, so the newest interaction is always at the bottom of the listed interaction details.

For example, I've recreated an example of what we're seeing in our system below:

The two bolded entries above indicate an occurrence where the correct response is being flagged as incorrect.

I should mentioned that our users are reporting episodes of high latency as they take this training.

I have not encountered this issue with Storyline before, and I'd appreciate any insight you may have that will allow us to fix and prevent a similar issue from occurring in the future.
