Hi folks. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how to assign a score to a survey (essay) question. From what I have found, survey questions do not typically have a score, but that also prompts me to ask if they can (and if so, how).
By definition, a survey question has no right or wrong answer. Thus, there's no score.
A survey-essay response is submitted to the LMS if the question is associated with a Results slide.
Even using JavaScript, it'd be difficult to score an essay. I suppose a JS score could be based on the number of characters or whether the essay contains certain words or phrases. But that'd still be crude scoring. And you'd still need extra programming to submit the JS score to an LMS.
