Audio Going Out of Sync on Responsive Player

Feb 15, 2017

Hi,

We have been testing content in the responsive player, and have noticed that when you zoom in on a slide it kicks the audio out of sync with the slide. It tends to do this more on slides with more content on.

Is there any way to offset this? Or is this a side effect of zooming in on slides and having the content re-render itself so to speak.

Thanks

Jake

Hi Alyssa,

Yes, sorry I should have been more specific.

It is the reverse punch HTML5 gesture, we have tested on both iPad and Samsung Galaxy S6.

The iPad is more severe (it is an old iPad btw), the Galaxy is also experiencing it, though not quite as bad. It occurs more out of sync as you zoom more and more on a slide.

Thanks

Jake

Hi Alyssa,

Nothing has come in, and there's nothing in my Junk/Spam folders.

As mentioned, previously I have been unable to receive direct emails from Articulate addresses. (sales has had to contact me on gmail accounts previously as the same problem arose.)

So yeh, that's a bit weird.

Is there any progress on the issue above? I don't see that there is anything we can do to fix it, it's probably just going to be a problem of the re-rendering during zoom, but if there's a possibility it can be fixed I would like to check!

Thanks

Jake

Hey Jake,

Sorry to hear you're still not receiving our emails. I've alerted Cleo to see what more we can do to ensure our emails reach you.

Cleo tested the behavior on a new project file on iPad using Safari, and he was not able to replicate the issue. Your welcome to share your file with us here so we can compare yours against the new file.

Thanks for sharing your new case number with me. Angelo has taken your case, so I'll check back in periodically to see if he has shared any new information.

Do you happen to have an alternate email address you'd like us to send emails to? By the way, Cleo re-sent his email from your original case. Crossing my fingers it reaches you this time.
