Hi! I am having trouble with audio on the first slide of my course. When published to SCORM cloud or within our LMS, the audio will not play until the user clicks the screen, even if there is no other window open.
I cannot determine the cause of this. Any suggestions?
This is most likely caused by modern browser security code. While the above trigger might be working for you, it is not likely to work for the majority of your users. As most browsers now restrict "media from playing" until a user has allowed it by "interacting with the page".
The best practice is to add a slide (or a layer) at the start that says "enter course" with a button. Once the user clicks, they have met the browser's criteria for interaction and everything will play fine from there.
