Suppose we import narration audio optimized for file size with the following settings:
File format: MP3 (maintained by Storyline)
Audio bit rate: 64 kbps (adjustable in the 'Publish Quality' settings of Storyline)
Channels: Mono
Bit depth: 16 bit
Sample rate: 32 khz
Are other characteristics such as the number of channels, bit depth, and sample rate changed when published or does does it stay the same as when it imported?
Your findings are accurate. The bitrate is changed depending on the audio quality setting you choose in the publish settings. Exported audio are set to Mono.
