Audio Within Storyline Stopped Working

The audio within Storyline has stopped working, so I am unable to match my animations on the timeline with my audio. Any suggestions or ideas on why this may be happening? Thanks!

Oh no, Kristen! I'd love to work with you to find the culprit here. 

  • Is this happening with all audio file types or a particular one?
  • If you simply insert this audio on a slide and then publish it, does the media play in the published output? Or, does this issue seem only to happen when you're editing/previewing the course in Storyline?

I am using all mp3 files for audio. I have been working on a series of courses for over a week and have not had any problems until yesterday with the audio, so it was not happening the whole time.

The audio is not working within Storyline, nor when it is published as well.

If the wonky behavior with the audio just started happening, a simple Storyline 360 repair should do the trick. Let me know if you still run into this problem after that – we'll keep digging and try different approaches!
