Auto slide advance

Hi,

for some reason the default on the slideshow seems to be "advnace slides automatically" and this cannot be changed globally. Really?

It seems I have to go to each individual slide, click on the gear icon and then select "advance by user" - please tell me there is a better way to do this. When I am Story View, I am not able to change the settings globally - this is where I would assume these settings should be changed - but if not, please poitn me in the right direction.

I have to say I am finding SL360 to be particularly buggy and I am not happy about it.
