Automatic launch of video in a new window

Hello everyone,

I've captured a short video about using a software, and I'd like to have it starting automatically but in a new window, not in the slide. The problem is that when you select "Display in a new window" in the video options menu, then it automatically turn to "by clicking" and no possibilities to have it starting automatically. I looked at the triggers but nothing there.

Any suggestions or solutions to sort this out ?

Maybe you can host the video somewhere else and just Jump to the URL when the timeline starts?

Hi Francois,

I'd look more into Jackson's suggestion - as launching it in a new window would need a way for Storyline to know to launch it - normally based on clicking or similar.
