I use Storyline 360, and downloaded an interactive media slide from content library. Although "dim" is selected in the slide properties, when I preview it or publish it to Review the base layer background does not dim. Any idea why this is, or how I can fix the problem? Thanks!
Add a shape (rectangle) that covers the whole layer send it to the back. Select the shape and press ctrl+enter and set the colour and transparency oon the fill tab you may want to remove the line.

Dim is just a visual indicator when editing. To dim when published you need to add in a semitransparent shape.
How do I create the transparency? Thanks for responding so quickly, Phil.

It worked like a charm! Thanks!
