Batch import .quiz --> .story

Dec 16, 2019

Hello,

I am looking for a way to batch import about 2000 or so .quiz files from previous version of Storyline.

I submitted a feature request but was wondering if there is any way to create a batch file on windows 10 or something.

The task is

import a .quiz file, then save as a .story file with the same filename as the .quiz file.

Could I create a .bat in windows or something I could launch in the powershell of windows?

Hi Tim, I have never done this so I can't verify if it works but here is a link to instructions on how to import questions. It is a bit of a manual process because you have to enter all the questions into an excel spreadsheet or text doc but maybe you could figure out how to automated it.

Hey there, Tim. It looks like you got some great community help!

Thanks for also opening a support case. I see Renato shared your insight around a way to automate the importing of multiple Quizmaker files into Storyline as a Feature Request to the right team!

We have lots of creative developers in the community, so I'm curious to see what they'll share with you. We'll also keep you updated with any news on such a built-in function!
