Blurry Logo
Jan 26, 2018
I'm trying to include a logo in the Storyline Player. The logo is a crystal-clear JPEG file, but when I publish the content, it's unacceptably blurry. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
I have attached the Storyline file as well as the JPEG of the logo, and a screenshot of the published course to show how blurry the logo is.
Thanks.

I bumped the resolution up, reduced the image size and saved it as .png file. It seems sharper.
Hi Louis!
I'm thinking the issue is that Storyline is scaling down the logo greatly to fit into the logo panel. Have you tried resizing the image in Photoshop, then saving as a PNG and uploading again? I believe the maximum size for a logo before Storyline begins to scale is 200 pixels wide and 220 pixels high.
Here's my version that I edited in Photoshop. I did the same thing Bob did - better resolution, resized, and saved as a .png

Bob,
If it's not too much trouble, would you mind uploading the revised logo .png so I can try it? The screenshot you uploaded looks great.
I updated my previous comment with the image I had edited to test the clarity - in case you want to give that one a try.
Sure... here you go.
Articulate compresses images when published too, so you need to watch out for using images that are already compressed. Your logo would benefit from being a vector image as well for the greatest sharpness.
Thank you both. This is very helpful!
