I'm using the built-in quiz slides for my knowledge checks. I have four scenes with anywhere from 1-3 questions at the end of each scene. The correct/incorrect layers jump to the main menu slide. However, when I review the quiz, I'm getting stuck on the quiz slides because I'm thinking it doesn't know where to go due to my branching layers. I'm using the built-in navigation and would like to keep it that way.
I'm getting really frustrated! Is there a work around?
Hi Katie! Are you using the Submit button within the Storyline player? If so, does the Submit button change to Prev and Next buttons when reviewing the quiz slides?
This video tutorial on how to adjust navigation on Prev and Next buttons during quiz review might be helpful.
If you would like to share your project file (or even just a few slides), we would be happy to take a closer look at it. You can use the Add Attachment button at the bottom of the reply window.
So it sounds like they're only answering one question out of the set up at at the end of the scene? You would need to set up some custom branching on the review layers for those slides than as well to direct the user where to go. This article is a bit older, but it should definitely get you where you need to be - and if you get stuck, pop back in here and share the .story file using the "add attachment" button so that others can take a look and offer you some design expertise.
Hi Katie! Thanks for sending over your file. I'm looking into it now, and I just want to make sure I understand where you've hit a roadblock. Are you saying you want slide 5.13 Which came first? to go to slide 1.6 You have reached... during Quiz Review after the user has already taken the quiz?
Looking at your file, I would send 5.13 back to 1.4 (the same way you did in the other scenes), and then I'd put a condition on the next button for 1.4 where it only goes on to the next slide if all four of your 'Quote Shadows' are showing their state as completed. That way you're covered also in case your learner doesn't do the sections in the expected order.

Hi Katie
Can you upload your .story file - might be easier for someone to help you if they can work with your setup.

I used the workaround Alyssa suggested and it seems to work.
But I'm locked in on the last sequence slide where I want it to go back to slide 1.6

Hi Alyssa,
Yes, I need it to branch back to the completion slide so once they exit the course, the results will send to Canvas.
