I have a large course (approx. 250 slides) and think it might be best to be broken into a series of modules - approx. 5 modules looks like it might be a good fit given the subject matter.
I am wondering how its best to do this? Is it for example better to create a series of courses in storyline with each saved file being one module? Or is it better to leave in one big file? I am probably going to be using Moodle as my LMS but did wonder if it is worth doing anything to prepare for a module approach in Storyline before integrating it with the LMS (e.g. Moodle).
I suggest that it would be better to break up your course into several modules. 250 slides is just a bit too much. You can ask your SME to help you break up it up into proper sections.
I would create 5-8 modules, individually created and saved separately.
Using Moodle you can then create one single course but have these as modules within that course. You can give accreditation per module and then an overall accreditation for completing the course.

Thanks Vineetha and Joshua. I thought this might be the best approach. Cheers Belinda
