Bugs with upgraded projects?

Hi heroes,

We've been Storyline users since SL1, and we have a number of courses that have been upgraded from version to version as we upgrade programs.

Has anyone else experienced major issues with upgrading projects to SL360? We are experiencing program freezing and slides not displaying in the work pane, for example. I'm wondering if it's because the course in question has been upgraded from SL1 to SL2 to SL360 over it's history.

We only bothered upgrading it at all because it needed SME review and we love the new feature. We've been aware of minor quirks with upgrading courses from 1 to 2, but never freezing issues like in 360.

Anyone seen this or have any idea what's causing it?

Hi there Jason!

Are you seeing this with all Storyline 2 projects you've upgraded to Storyline 360, or just one in particular? As Wendy mentioned, you'll want to make sure that you're working from your local hard drive and that your system meets the requirements listed here. If you're working locally and still seeing this issue, a simple repair usually fixes the problem.

Unfortunately, due to security policy (I'm at a financial institution) I have no access to the local drive.  :(

There's one particular course that prompted this thread, but we've seen other little quirks with upgrading in the past. It may be due to them all being on the network drives, though there's not too much I can do about it.
