I'm looking for a way to host a single course on a web server. However, the users will need to log in to the server, and for the server to remember where in the module they had left off.
Is this something that's possible, or will it just be easier to use an LMS?
You'll probably want an LMS to support the tracking and user access. We had similar needs for a Storyline course that we created and ended up self-hosting it with LearnDash on a Wordpress platform. A cloud LMS would have been easier but we needed to keep costs low and add customizations.
