Buttons are clickable even as disabled

Jan 02, 2018

I did see another post similar to my issue, and he used the 'reset states' to resolve.  That is not working for mine.  The issue is that I have 4 groups, each contain an oval and a picture.  I've set both of these to disabled as the initial states, but I can still click on them.  I do notice that my jump to next slide is set on the group not the oval or picture, but I can't set the group to disabled.  Any ideas?  I've attached the story below.

I've gotten around the issue right now by only allowing the jump to next slide if the trigger I set for the one before it is True.

Your trigger is set on the "Group", so even though you set the shapes to "Disabled", the trigger will still work. Assuming you want to keep your group intact, you could remove the trigger from the group and try placing a transparent shape over top of the group, give that shape a disabled state and then associate your trigger with that transparent shape. As long as the shape covers your entire group, the user won't be able to select anything. There are other ways, but this might be the most simple solution.
