I have variables throughout my course, each of which has a numeric value. At the end of the course I have a slide showing the numeric value of each variable as defined by the learner (as they were prompted to do so during the course). I want the learner to click a "calculate" button so, by doing, it will add up the variables and display the total. In essence the operation is the addition of 1+2+3+4+5 to display the sum of 15. Whatever help can be offered would be sincerely appreciated.
Thank you for your response. I have previously viewed both those tutorials mutiple time, but unfortunately they did not offer sufficient guidance and direction to accomplish what I have trying to do. Whatever additional assistance you can provide would be apprecited.

Hi Neil and welcome to Heroes!
To get you started, I wanted to point you to this tutorial on how to add numeric variables and an additional tutorial to create a counter of sorts.

Hi Neil,
Wasn't sure how far along you were, so figured I'd start with the easiest tutorials.
Have you also seen this screenr from Jeannette on calculating with user entered variables?
