Is there a way by which the viewers of Story published course file can access the calculator in the course file when they are solving maths questions in the course file. Do I need to add a swf to every slide or all slide masters?
I was trying to implement your suggested approach. But I was able to add the calculator link in the resources tab but not as its own tab. Can you please help me out here. As you can see in this pic, the user will need to first click on "Resources" and then on "Calculator" to get access to the calculator.
I think what you suggested was that I can have a tab like "resources" and that tab could say "calculator" and when I click on that the calculator will open.

Hi Payal,
Have you looked at the idea of adding your (link to)/calculator to the player. Similar like the resources, notes etc...

That is a good idea. I will try that out.

Here is the pic with resources tab
I think Geert meant for you to embed it on a slide and lightbox the slide so the calculator can be used at anytime
Thanks Phil for responding. So you mean I embed it as a web object on a slide?
yes that is what I would do
Hi Payal,
indeed this is what I meant.
Lightboxes are suited for this.
