We don't want the overlay with the play button, we just want our own welcome screen to go ahead and appear. I looked at the CSS, looks like that overlay is a mobile element? And the play button is an svg graphic from somewhere but where? Thank you!
Some web browsers, such as Google Chrome and Safari, no longer allow audio and video content to autoplay. To fix this problem, we added a play button that permits learners to play the media. Take a look at the article links for more details!
Cheryl, We bypassed it by dropping in a opening slide with no audio, and reducing the timeline to its lowest setting and have it automatically jump to the next slide when the timeline finishes. It displays quickly and plays your content automatically.
Thank you Bob! Yes that works. The simple answer, in case anyone has found this thread with the similar problem, is that if your first slide has media on it, it won't automatically play.
