I need to make a drag-and-drop scenario where a user needs to drag a Flash (swf) object from one part of the slide to another. Is there a way to accomplish this? I tried grouping it with another object (shape), but it still doesn't allow the user to click and drag the object. Any ideas?
Hm, grouping the swf file with another shape and then using that group as a drag object in a freeform question works for me, see here a quick example. I wonder what you do differently for it to not work.
Can you show it with a file from Ariculate Storyline, so will many peopel could look about and give you feedback. I am not expert but there are many of them here in this forum.
I have it so that I can drag it using the freeform question and grouping it with another object. As long as the user clicks on the object I grouped the swf to (around the edges of the swf) it works, but if they click directly on the swf, it wont drag. I tried re-ordering it and that worked, but the animation doesn't take place like I had hoped; the user should click on the fire extinguisher and it should emit the agent as it is dragged to the target. I've attached the file as Bo recommended.
Thanks Bo. I'll search around and see if there are any work-arounds. In the meantime, I can make the fire extinguisher a static image as a last resort.

Hi Tim
It is to complicated for a beginner like me.
But it must be something with hide the layer with the firer - when you track the fire extinguisher over the it.
Maby you so should try to do it more simpel in the beginning and only make it with shapes.
Because can you get it to work there it is more simpel to go the next step with swf animations.
Let us hope that you can track a expert to the fire
