Can I build a Multi-platform EBook in Storyline?

Oct 12, 2013

Hi,

I've a huge Flash Ebook (around 8000 slides) and I'm looking at converting this into a Multi-platform Ebook that works on desktops as well as on mobile devices (both IOS and android). I understand there no tool available that can help me convert this by itself, hence I would need to redevelop from scratch.

If you could provide your expert opinions on;
1. Suggesting how Storyline can manage huge file structures like mine (8000 slides). These pages are broken into Modules and Chapters for a logical branching
2. Does Storyline provide features like bookmarks, breadcrumbs, search, etc?

Will really appreciate your inputs.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Leslie,

Thank you for sharing links, however I couldn't get much information pertaining my requirement on them.

I need to manage huge Data, 8000 slides spread across over 40 chapters. This also needs a content page and maybe each chapter could be an individual published file having cross references/linking to different chapters(files). Features like breadcrumbs to go back to different levels could be helpful and a Search that could run across the entire package (not specific to a single file but to all the files under the ebook), and multiple bookmarks that readers could make.

I do not know if this is possible with Storyline. Let me know whether and how this can be accomplished with Storyline.

Thanks,

Shahnawaz
