Is it true that screen recording is limited to what's inside the defined area of a Web app? Apparently I cannot capture an entire app that may have scrollable content below the red-box-constrained recording area. My client's Web app has a few screens that require scrolling down, and I'd like to provide that interactive functionality to the learners. Presently I'm either making it demo-only ("Watch as I scroll down to show more of this long screen"), or splitting into two interactive slides after separately recording both halves of the app screen ("Now that you're seeing the lower half of the screen, click the X thing.") I'm looking for SnagIt-type functionality, where I can specify capturing either a window or an entire app.
When you define your record area, set it for the entire screen that way when you scroll it will record everything on the screen. I use replay to do this. that way when you click on the (X thing) it also shows what happened next.
