I don't mean when the zoom segment starts and I don't mean how long the segment lasts. I'm curious if there's any way to control how long *the zoom action itself* takes--the duration during which zooming is occurring. Thanks.
New zoom regions that you add to your slide default to a speed of "medium," but you can adjust the speed to be faster or slower if you like. Or, you can even make the zoom instantaneous—meaning that the zoomed-in region appears immediately rather than progressing from the regular view to the zoomed view.
To change the zoom speed, right-click the zoom area on your slide and choose Zoom Transition Speed. Then choose one of the speed options shown:
Feature request: "Very slow" is still pretty quick. It would be nice if there was something very much slower (so it could slowly zoom out during the voice-over). I'd like to be able to specify the number of seconds for the zoom, actually.
