I have existing old large e-learning application using many multimedia and XML files. I would like to use these file to create new e-learning using Articulate Storyline. Can I:
1. use XML files as input files to Articulate?
2. When Articulate creates a .story files , can it contain within it XML files?
3. when I execute the .story can I see my Original XML files?
I would appreciate your advice , as I have to decide if Articulate can be used to create new -e learning in which I can import my old e-learning which was created by another tool
Thank you in advance

Hi Tuvi,
Importing of third-party XML files into Storyline 360 to build a course is currently not supported. When a Storyline 360 course is published, the published output will contain original XML files, but we generally do not recommend modifying these, and these cannot also be edited to include third-party XML files. For your reference, here's what one of the XML files in a Storyline 360 output looks like:
Can I ask what you mean by seeing your original XML files when executing a Storyline 360 project? If you meant viewing XML files from inside a Storyline 360 course, then this is not possible. XML contain metadata about the course that is normally not visible to learners.
If you could provide me with more information regarding what you need XML files for, I'll be glad to provide additional information!
