Can't access any file via Articulate Storyline 3

Hello everyone,
I've been using Articulate Storyline 3 for at least couple of months and few days ago I tackled an unexpected issue. Suddenly I became unable both to access any previously created files and to create new Storyline project from scratch. Existing files itself are not corrupted, they can be opened on another machine without any problems.
Our company IT performed reinstallation, then I became able to create new projects, but am still unable to access any existing files, which I am supposed to be working on. Then our IT followed instructions from your guideline 'Storyline 3: How to Fix Unexpected or Erratic Behavior', but to no success.
In case it's relevant, I've got Windows 10 installed.
Can you advise what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Hello, Adrianne,

Thanks for the detailed description of the issue. If I understand it correctly, the issue is only happening on 1 specific machine, which means that it's isolated right?

If that is the case, do you remember anything that happened or changed on the device before the issue started? (Installed an update, other programs, etc.)

Are you getting any error messages when you try to access the existing projects? If so, please send a screenshot if possible.

Yes, you understand correctly, it happens on 1 specific machine. No update or new program was installed. The only "unusual" activity I performed (in Storyline, as a matter of fact) on the day it stopped working was trying to import a Slovak translation of text labels for player - never done that before. I have found it somewhere here on this forum, linked in one of discussions here. Now I realise it may have been meant for Storyline 2 and not 3, so that would explain why said import did not work... Nevertheless, I was able to use Storyline 3 for some time after that and the problem occurred later that day.
The error message I get every time I try to open any file is very unspecific and it basically says "something went wrong" - please see screenshot attached.
