Can't Locate Story File

OK - I need some help here to see if this has happened to anyone else.
I have been working on a project for a few months. I always accessed it from my Recent Projects on the Story line Homepage. However - I can no longer locate it. I can;t figure out where it went. I did not to my knowledge delete it, and even checked my recycle bin and its not there.
I've tried everything I can to search for it, but no luck.
Now I do have a web output created on 4/10. Is there anyway to use that to get my original story file back somehow?
Please tell me I have not lost two months work ?!? And if so how that could have happened....

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I'm curious, have you checked the default save directory for the .STORY file, or have you tried searching in Windows explorer for the file? You should be able to run a search on *.story and it should display any file with that extension.
Again, so sorry to hear this happened. If the actual project's .STORY file was deleted, you cannot recover the project from the output files. If you have an IT department they may be able to help recover deleted files, but it really depends on your system. In the future, it may be a good idea to create a backup of your .STORY files, just to be safe.
