I have created a number of survey essay questions using the quizzing templates in Articulate Storyline.
Is there a way the user can view all the answers they have written in one slide at the end.
The results slide seems to just give a grade but I don't want these answers graded, im just looking for a way the user can review all the questions and answers in one spot and if possible print them.
If you don't want results slides, you can always just delete them. It might be easier to not use the freeform quizzing and just insert text entry boxes for learners to type stuff into. When you do this, you can change the name of the variable to whatever you want by double clicking on the trigger.
To display the answer later on, you'll need to use the %VariableName% text to display those variables, substituting the text between the percent signs with whatever your variable is called (case matters). You have to sort of play with the font size of this in the text box, though, because the all of the stuff the learner typed into the text entry box will be confined to how big the text box is. You could also insert a white box with that same %VariableName% in it for the same effect.
Sorry if this is confusing...you kind of have to play with it to get it to work how you want it. That, or there's a much easier way to do it
Here's an example of what I'm talking about. Play around with different length responses to see how they work with the different formats. Personally, I think the white box works pretty well because the font of the answer will be consistent every time.
Hello, I am new to Articulate Storyline and creating essay questions. I do not want the users to have to print their answers, but want the administrator to be able to see and print the answers. Our LMS is Learning Central. Is there a specific way the essay test questions should be published in order for this to happen? Thanks.

Hi Lynn,
To send the results and answers of your learners to your LMS, you'll want to do the following:
And that should do it! Let us know if you need anything else.
