Can variables change other variables

Can I have variables change other variables? 
 
Example 
Variables: A, B, C, and D 
If Variables A and B are false it makes D true. With the idea that if D is true it will show a specific text box on the result page 
 
If Variables A and B are true then it makes C true. Same idea but it shows a different text box. 
 
Am I asking too much from 360? Or is there a better way to do this? If there is already a threat on this please link it.
