Just wanted to add a little to what Phil posted. If you need to share the content of your course with another developer, all you would need to do is share the single .story file for the project. For example, if your course name is "MyProject", the file name would be "MyProject.story" and will be listed as an Articulate Storyliine Story file type. Just send this to whomever needs to make changes to the course and they'll have access to the content within the course.
If this isn't what you're trying to do, can you give us a little more information?

There is no need as it is all self contained, that is unless you have associated engage files if so there is no way apart from zipping them yourself
