Hello--I am attempting to cover a username in a screencast. In the screencast, there is a portion where I am scrolling and need to have a series of objects (in my case, rectangles) that cover the username frame-by-frame. I can't seem to adjust the timing of the rectangle to less than 0.25 seconds--am I doing this wrong? Is there any other way around it?
As someone who works with Instructional Videos I can definitely sympathize with the pains of covering usernames and confidential information. :)
A couple of suggestions/ideas: can you add fade in/out (entry and exit fade animations) to the shapes in order to make them appear for less than .25 seconds? Another option (possibly faster) would be to animate the path of one rectangle that will cover the username as the scrolling happens.
I'd be glad to take a look at the story file to offer other suggestions if you'd like (and are able) to share.
