Can you have quiz answers showing up on another slide?

Feb 05, 2019

Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way to have answers from a drag and drop quiz show up on another screen. For example, if a user were to drag "O"(button) and place it beside a statement that says "Listening Actively", is there a way to have the words "Listen Actively" show up on the next slide so they know what their answer is? I've included the attachment - basically, we want them to drag "S" and place it beside their Strength, and "O" beside their Opportunity and then on the final screen, their opportunities would be listed beside each area so they know what all of their opportunities are.

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Nicole, You can definitely do this by using variables and triggers. I attached a quick sample here based off of yours. Using drag objects and drop zones, you set the variable to a specific thing for each drop zone. So for this one, the only one I set was the first one, So drop the S on the first drop zone and the variable S is adjusted to = Set. Same with the O, then hit submit, go to the next page, and based on which variable is set to S, the state of the icon next to the first one will change to S or O. Let me know if you have questions.

Also, fyi, when creating buttons, avoid using a group as a button. You can get unexpected results. That same Rectangle you have under the Submit text box can be a text box as well. Almost any shape can, just select the shape, right click on it, and then hit Edit text. Then you can use the states tab to create other states. Use the built in states whenever possible, Hover, Selected, Visited, and so on.

Hope that helps.
